	Badgersett Farm: Hybrid Hazelnuts and Chestnuts For more than 25 years, we have been breeding hybrid hazelnuts and chestnuts on our family-run, chemical-free farm. The hybrid bushes and trees that we sell have been bred for blight-resistance, cold-hardiness, high productivity, and low maintenance. We also breed and sell butternuts and hickories. Our primary motivation is the development of sustainable crops from woody plants, or "woody agriculture".
