The NPL - The Nuclear Physiology Lab
We study the nuclear pore function with patch-clamp and fluorescence microscopy.
The study is made in transcriptionally and translationally active nuclei.
This appears to be unique to our lab.

David Colquhoun's Lab and download page
Here you can get our specialist single channel analysis programs such as time course fitting, and theory programs. In particular you can get HJCFIT, our 'flagship' program for fitting reaction mechanisms to single channel records. Some reprints of our papers are available, and there are some fun links too (photos, Galapagos, alternative medicine, politics and religion).

Electrophysiology & the molecular basis of excitabilit
The basis of excitability is explored in terms of the operation of ion channels. Simulations are based on stochastic descriptions of kinetics or are based on the solution of ordinary or partial differential equations. In all cases the interface with the user is graphical: cartoons and/or plots.
